Split System Air Conditioning sunshine coast

Split System Air Conditioners

split system consists of a compressor, evaporator, refrigerant and condenser. The name “split” is derived from the fact that some components, the evaporator and condenser, are separated during installation into two different parts, namely the indoor and outdoor units. The evaporator and condenser are joined together using a lineset to make the system work.

This mode of installation ensures the system produces very little noise since the noisy component is located outside the room to be air conditioned. There is also very minimal loss of energy, which makes it very energy efficient.

We have a range of systems between 2 to 9.5 kilowatt units for you to choose from.

Ceiling Cassettes

Ceiling cassettes are air conditioning units that are placed strategically either inside the ceiling or below it.

They are best suited for offices and other commercial establishments that require more air conditioning than is possible for split or multi-head split systems to provide. Depending on your taste you can also use them in your home for air conditioning or to decorate your open plan living space.

Our cassettes are available in a wide range of sizes i.e. from 2.5 – 14.5 kilowatts.

Ducted air conditioners are systems that use ducts or narrow passages to either remove or deliver air.

Unlike ceiling cassettes and split systems, these ducts are completely hidden. They’re usually concealed in walls, or roof spaces.

Ducted air conditioning systems are ideal for homes or rooms that are large enough to hold the ducts in place within the roof or walls. They’re also only appropriate if you plan on air conditioning multiple rooms.

Multi-Head Split Systems

Multi-head split systems are great residential air conditioning systems. Normally a split system must have one indoor unit and one outdoor unit to operate. (Tramadol) However, a multi-head system can use one outdoor unit to support up to four indoor units. This means you can warm or cool multiple rooms at a much lower cost.

If you’re looking to save energy and installation costs you can opt for multi-head split systems. These systems are also ideal for use where the space available cannot support the installation of ducted systems.
