Our Company
Port City Air Conditioning specialise in all aspects of HVAC Systems across commercial and industrial buildings and can lay claim to playing a pivotal part on many builds in Brisbane areas, Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton.  We have our head office on the Sunshine Coast.

The Position

This position is a full time, Monday to Friday, Includes super, vehicle allowance, uniforms and mobile phone allowance. Attractive Salary negotiable based on experience.

We will provide you with all the training and experience required to be fully qualified as a HVAC project manager. You will support our Project Managers with all tasks required to complete projects from the initial quote stage to handing over a finished project. We are offering National RTO accredited training to our candidate as well as real world training.

This position is offered as full time located at the Sunshine Coast office. Due to the training required, we are unable to offer remote working.

• BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management through an authorised RTO
• You will learn from a highly skilled, experienced team willing to mentor and supply you with the tools that you need to excel
• On the job training in construction and Air Conditioning and mechanical ventilation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with on-site project coordination including site visits to projects around Brisbane and regional Queensland
• Assisting with construction registers and compliance
• Undertaking inspections and generating reports
• Preparing scopes of work
• Procurement of equipment
• Developing and issuing all handover documentation
• Assessing sub-contractor prequalification documentation and contract compliance
• Preparing and presenting monthly progress reports 
• Assisting the Project Manager(s) and Director with head contract matters
• Adherence to accredited Work, Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a willingness to learn
• Have good HVAC technical knowledge
• Possess the ability to show leadership under pressure
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365
• Current Drivers Licence
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate 
• Construction Induction White Card

Ideal Candidate

• Have proven experience in HVAC leadership roles
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management (or equivalent)
• Experience in drafting / CAD / Sketch-up will be highly advantageous
• Strong ability for time management and forecast
• Have a good understanding of building processes
• Be a good problem solver
