Community Sport has always played an important role in Australian Society as a cornerstone of the community. It offers the community a family-friendly point of common ground, where no-matter your walk of life, you all come together for Saturday Football. Port City Air believes that this common ground and community connection is something that should be fostered and supported in Australian Society, which is why Port City Air Conditioning has been a long-standing sponsor of the Coolum Dolphin’s Football Club. Established in 1975, Coolum Football Club is one the largest community sporting organisations in the Sunshine Coast. It’s become known as the family friendly club by the beach with far-reaching ties to the community with many club legends still calling Coolum and the club home. Coolum Football Club is highly competitive with teams in all divisions of the Sunshine Coast Football Federation from Junior under 6’s all the way to senior men and womens football, they offer a division for just about everyone to get out and enjoy the game. Coolum FC took out the Sunshine Coast football premiership back in 2004 beating Caloundra Football 3-0 in the grand final.

Community sport is not a cheap endeavour, from organising jerseys to making sure the teams are staffed by the best possible coaches, organising safe and reliable transport for teams for away games and ensuring that teams across all divisions have access to equipment. This is all made possible for sport teams across the nation thanks to sponsors just like Port City Air Conditioning, reaching out to the community and giving them the support they need.

Port City Air has been the Major Sponsor of Coolum FC since 2019 supporting both junior and senior teams with equipment, coaching academies, events and much more.
